Lou Paton, the founder of Jumpstart First Aid, brings over 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, specializing in cardiology. Her passion for health education is evident in her engaging teaching style. Lou also serves as a senior firefighter with the NZ Volunteer Fire Service, drawing on real-world emergency experience to provide training that’s practical, relatable, and impactful.

Lou’s training with the NZ Resuscitation Council ensures that all courses meet the highest standards in first aid and resuscitation. With 10 years of business ownership experience, Lou understands workplace safety and compliance, delivering tailored training that’s both effective and cost-efficient. Her down-to-earth approach makes learning enjoyable, ensuring participants gain both the skills and the confidence they need.
